How to automatically translate texts:
You can translate the texts into the new language by accessing the Translations Panel.
You can access the translations panel in three ways:
1. Double-clicking on the Multilanguage component on your site, and selecting the Flag icon from the blue edit bar;
2. In the toolbar, click on Language Management and finally click the translation icon on the right of the language you want to work on;
3. Select any text on your site page and double click on the component. From the blue edit bar, select the Flag icon.
Once you have accessed the Language Management panel, click on the translate button corresponding to the language you want to change and continue.
- On the left side you will find your site divided into sections:
- Header (Header), Footer (Footer);
- Pages, all those present on your site;
- Popup, all those created.
To automatically translate the texts of your site:
1. Click on the arrow icon, in the center between the two fields, corresponding to the text you want to translate
2. Click on the translate icon, located in the center between the two fields
3. Click Save to save the changes
The system will keep both the original formatting, and will simultaneously provide for the translation of the text on the left, in the language indicated by the right column. The left text will not be affected.
If you want to translate an entire page, simply click the Translate page button at the bottom to translate all the texts in the left column, to the fields in the right column.
This procedure will keep the style and formatting of the left texts.
Finally, it is possible to indicate a different name to the page if it is displayed in a specific language.
For example: the Contact page could become Contact in English.
To do this, simply change the name of the page at the top, next to the flag representing the language, in the Change URL field.
After making all the changes, click on Save to confirm the changes.
Good to know: in the mobile editor, you can decrease or increase the pixel size of the text in one language without affecting the other languages.
Useful information: to translate the texts in a contact form, newsletter or table, you will need to act in the component itself. Change the site display language from the right panel, so that you can work on the aforementioned components with that specific language.
